These festive gatherings are a perfect introduction to the Great Books.
We are pleased to announce our upcoming event that will include a discussion of The Samurai’s Garden, by best selling author, Gail Tsukiyama at Bellevue’s award winning Botanical Gardens.
When: Saturday, January 18th, 2025, 4:30-6:30pm
Where: 12001 Main St, Bellevue, WA
Price: $39.50 (scroll down to register)
Here are some of the details…
We will start with a 1.5 hour discussion, followed by light hors d’oeuvres and a glass of wine.
Prior to our gathering feel free to enjoy Bellevue Botanical, Yao Garden. Described on the BBG website as:
“A traditional Japanese gate leads into this contemplative garden. Developed to honor the sister city relationship between Bellevue and Yao Japan, the garden is a blend of Pacific Rim influences: delicate maples beside Columbia River basalt; ground covers surround Japanese lanterns; vibrant azaleas accent rhododendrons and viburnums.”
The gardens and parking are free.
Looking forward to seeing you there,
