Please join other book lovers as we challenge these authors’ ideas and maybe learn more about ourselves.

  • Citizen: An American Lyric by Claudia Rankine, ISBN 9781555976903, a 2014 selection weaving prose, poetry, and visual images into a provocative meditation on race.
  • King Lear by William Shakespeare, ISBN 9781586638535, the classic of family dynamics disturbed by inheritance and power.
  • Man’s Search for Meaning by Victor Frankel ISBN 9780807014295, (1946), the experiences of a concentration camp prisoner and his attempts to find control in the chaos of life.

We will have two discussions on Saturday, meet at a local eating establishment for dinner and a program, then conclude with two discussions on Sunday.
